Description: Conversion of a small chapel into a home for an author and publisher of children’s books, was organized around maintaining the great volumes of space. A glass stair was suspended from the ceiling within the triple height space, accessing a series of loft-like bedroom floors. A glass bridge leads to a library niche and looks down through the glass floor of the living room to a playroom below. A large timber framed skylight allows light into and through the entire house.
