New England Case Study House
Description: This 19th Century farm house serves as a design “laboratory” for building systems, fixturing, site planning, green technologies, and traditional building studies. New systems are implemented and tested; from site water management to lighting fixtures. Re-use of material found throughout the site have been implemented in various aspects of the renovation. Local materials and craftsmen have been utilized to better understand the local environment and it’s resources.
