Description: Recognized as a special Juror’s Selection and exhibited in Grand Central station, our proposal for the adaptive re-use of the abandon and elevated rail tracks on Manhattan’s west side was conceived as a experiential gradient from the urban to natural environment. Terminated at one end by a zoological park and the other into the Hudson River, our High Line is a series of pocket parks characterized by plantings and constructions that gradually transform from artificial to natural.
